Faculty of Electronics and Computer Engineering SWCU held a seminar with the theme “Thermal Imaging in Industrial Measurement” on the 22nd of May 2024. The  speaker of which is Mr. Dhani Setiawan who’s working at the company PT. Siwali Swantika.

The seminar began with an introduction then followed by the tools used in large scale industrial measurements. Then comes the main topic of this seminar which starts with simple definitions and terms that you need to know for thermal imaging tools, after that Mr. Dhani talks about the reasons for using a thermal imager. He also talks about what you need to pay attetention to when buying a thermal imager, such as resolution, focus, temperature range, lens, and much more. At the end of the seminar there is a short demonstration about how to use a thermal imager, where participants can see what they have learned during the seminar.
